In English there are two terms: “Labyrinth” and “Maze”, which stand for two different structures. In a Labyrinth there is only one path, while a Maze has many different paths with branches, dead-ends and traps.
The Labyrinth is one of the most ancient symbols of the Path of Life that stretches from birth to death. This path is not homogenous, it changes and is full of unexpected turns, but always it continues on and inevitably comes to the end
Michael Murphenko’s Labyrinth is a path without a choice: through expectations, dreams, fear and understanding. The one who risks to walk the Labyrinth from beginning to end will have the chance of finding his own answer to the challenge of life and death.
